i for one had many, many great experiences at mix throughout the last 2.5 years. went from the top floor, to the bottom floor, to both floors briefly, tried out many formats (live shows every night upstairs, remember that shit?) .. stand up fucking comedy nights, WAY too many DJs and artists performing to mention, so many fucked up nights, Frankie goddamned Bones on his 40th b-day... a dream come true... and most of all an opportunity to meet, work closely with and hang out for many hours with a whole bunch of amazing montrealers who work and love in all kinds of different musical fields. a big salute to all that helped out, all the staff, tipsy t, doorgirls, kafwin, cat, sam, julie, bartenders over the years, guelf, fred, melo, maya, all the DJs that played, all the artists, all the people that helped promote, its been so long and my memories foggy from many drunken nights up in that spot, i know im forgetting shit but big thanks to all for making lots of great memories nonetheless :) |

DJ ASSAULT!!!! i made this fucking flyer once with like 200 DJ names on it, all of whom had played at the mix (and that was like 1 year after it started or something) but we never printed it, and now I CANT FUCKING FIND It in my cpu. word. |
