Hey buddies, I have a plant that is dying cause it doesn't seem to be getting enough sunlight. you can hang it from something or just put it on a table or the floor.

If you have problems with a dimly lit place you should consider bamboo; it's happy in a room temperatured, shady environment (I've found direct sunlight can kill it) Give it a couple of rocks and some water and you're all set. Apperently it's good luck to keep it around too;)
Spider plants also grow in dim light and clean the air...

that looks like a fern...
those things can be a real bitch indoors. but i'll tell you right of the bat that not enough sunlight is probbably not the problem. ferns do best in indirrect sunlight and high humidity. try to keep it damp but don't over watter it which is also really easy with ferns because they rot really easy. if you got a window in your bathroom maybe try to move it there but definately keep it outta the window. they also don't like plastic pots... try clay or ceramic with good drainage. you also might want to put som rocks in the bottom or line the pot with moss. anyway... its a super delicate plant. hope that helps a little.

Thank you for the tips. The pot has holes on the bottom to release excess water, is that enough to make sure it's not 'watered' too much?
All in all, I'd say it only gets about 3 hours of sun each day, the spider plant is doing good, but as you can see the fern is dying. I paid like 20+$ for it but would rather someone take it than it die and me throw it away. So the question is 'Does Mico still want it?'
