Im taking a plane soon to british colombia,I lost my insurrance maladie card and well my hole wallet recently.

I know i don't need a passeport to fly inside of canada ,I usualy need inssurance maladie card and I don't know how long they take to send the new cards in the mail when you make one. so if they don't send it in time can i use a temporary inssurance maladie card when i go thru customs ? or can i use birth certificate.

thanks.
I'm feeling soma 2500 right now..

reorder your health insurance card at the clsc.. and ask them to supply you with a temporary certificate valid until you get the new one.
I'm feeling myspace right now..

You shouldn't need any identification to fly on domestic flights.

If someone says otherwise they're lying to you.
I'm feeling you up right now..

most airlines won't pass your baggage without id. Of course it did happen once that i lost my passport and all i had was my school ID and they did sort of hassle me but it worked out. YOu just need a form of photo ID. Since they took my mcgill card, i'm sure other forms of less official ID will work.

Birth certificate should be good, as long as you also carry a picture ID (i.e. driver's license. But I guess that would have been in the wallet you lost.
I'm feeling pro-tarded right now..

Temporary IDs can't be used for identification purposes. It usually says so right there on the ID itself.

i travel alot and wherever i go i need passport or id... i think it's crazy to go far from your place without anything. go to desjardins tower on sainte-catherine.. you can have your passport made faster if you pay suplement.
I'm feeling hitched right now..
