Expanded Opening Hours Start Next Week.

 Coolness: 35205 | Now that the weather has improved, we are adding extra hours starting on Friday the 30th of April.
We depend on the record buying public to let us know what works for you. The tentative schedule is going to be: Monday - Thursday 9 AM till 5 PM. Fridays 9 AM till 8 PM Saturdays Noon till 7 PM Please let me know how important these new hours are to you, and if they there is anything else we can do to make a difference. | Coolness: 35205 | Thursdays too eh? Is 8 late enough? We are here 9-5 M-F doing our regular business so we are "open" regardless. The problem is getting people moved around to work "retail".

| Coolness: 2604070 | Personally I don't buy a lot of stuff but working 9-5 myself I can only go shopping on weekends and Thursday and Friday. I think that if you were closed one day during Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday it would not harm that much, and I think staying open the extra two hours on Thursday would bring business from the working class (who make money and have no time to spend it) who rather shop at night. |

 Coolness: 149090 | thursday after 5 PM is always the big rush at most record stores in Montreal... DNA, InBeat records.. that's when they get the new stock up, so that's what Montreal record buyers are used to.
on the other hand, if you don't start stocking some techno, there ain't much point even being open ; ) |

| Coolness: 35205 | That Thursday Release Day routine has always been a tradition, I agree. Thing is we have the same new releases for sale on Tuesday, and another batch on Friday, so hopefully that will encourage people to come by earlier.
Right now our techno selection is based on what the stores we sell to buy - and for over a year now, most stores don't really seem to care about it too much. If you want to send me or post a list of Labels and releases you would want us to bring in, I can certainly see what we can and cannot get. |
