its usually someone really desperate who will grab what they can carry in thier hands and sell really easy on the street without it getting traced. music equipment is tough because pawn most shops require a certain amount of identification and alot more ppl are more likely to buy a laptop off the street than something like an mpc2000. when i got robbed on the plateau the burgalar passed on a buncha really expensive shit like a tech 12, snowboards, bike shocks and only ran off with 2 c.d. collections because its easy to pawn without getting traced back, unlike some obscure piece of music equipment with a serial number on the back. if you got alot of gear stolen... then the chances are alot more likely that it's someone who's been to your crib before and knows what you got and took the time to organize a way to get it the fuck outta there and move it on the street. regardless... getting robbed is like getting raped in the ass... you feel completely violated. and that feeling sucks fuckin' ballz yo. |

a random stealer would have stolen other things but he stole only the laptop... probably the dumbest person who went at your place, to see you or your roommate, or a friend of your friend ect... it has to be someone that allready went to your place, cause he went directly to steal the laptop, he didnt look anywhere else ... and hes dumb for sure! |
