Where Do You Guys Buy Your Hardcore Vinyls In Montreal...
Good [+1]Toggle ReplyLink» wintermute a répondu le Thu 4 Jan, 2007 @ 5:23pm |
i've been out of the scene for about 5 years now, and just got a TT for xmas... put on a few records and found myself wanting for newer stuff... all the places I knew are now closed. :(
So, where do you buy your hardcore vinyls? Had really bad experience with online shops in the past and want to avoid them if at all possible... Thanks a lot!

online shops are a gift from god....
why pay 20 bucks a record when you can pay 10? honestly i don't think you can buy hardcore anywhere in montreal these days? and last time i spoke to dominik from toronto he was telling me nobody even makes it anymore... and the labels that are left are really half assed... so half assed in fact he started started playing dnb to filll the void.

as far as I know they don't sell hardcore in mtl. I think terroristkriss was selling some at some point but he seems to have dissapeared. Your best bet is in online shops

A few months back, I did a few phone calls trying to track down a distributor willing to bring hardcore at a reasonable price but all of them either stopped restocking their stuff or aren't offering that style of music at all. I was kinda hoping to plug them with Corey K in hopes of seeing DNA records [ dnarecords.com ] carry some hardcore much like Toronto's 2TheBeat [ 2thebeat.com ] But found nothing...
Although not all is lost... N.E.C. USA (division of one of the UK's best hard dance vinyl distributor) will be opening soon right south of the border in Phoenix around February - [ www.nuenergyusa.com ] Will distribution costs/transportation fees/bullshit drop due to this? I have no idea. As things are right now, nobody bright will buy hardcore records at a local vinyl shop if they can order same tracks for the same price while sitting on your rear-end and order them over the net. Shame really... Mise À Jour » Lone_Star a écrit sur Thu 4 Jan, 2007 @ 8:46pm On February 14th 2007 the doors of Nu Energy USA will officially open!
