"kramer'S" Racist Tirade -- Caught On Tape

WARNING: WHAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO SEE IS PROFANE AND RACIAL Michael Richards exploded in anger as he performed at a famous L.A. comedy club last Friday, hurling racial epithets that left the crowd gasping, and TMZ has obtained exclusive video of the ugly incident. Richards, who played the wacky Cosmo Kramer on the hit TV show "Seinfeld," appeared onstage at the Laugh Factory in West Hollywood. It appears two guys, both African-American, were in the cheap seats playfully heckling Richards when suddenly, the comedian lost it. The camera started rolling just as Richards began his attack, screaming at one of the men, "Fifty years ago we'd have you upside down with a f***ing fork up your ass." Richards continued, "You can talk, you can talk, you're brave now motherf**ker. Throw his ass out. He's a nigger! He's a nigger! He's a nigger! A nigger, look, there's a nigger!" The crowd is visibly and audibly confused and upset. Richards responds by saying, "They're going to arrest me for calling a black man a nigger." One of the men who was the object of Richard's tirade was outraged, shouting back "That's un-f***ing called for, ain't necessary." After the three-minute tirade, it appears the majority of the audience members got up and left in disgust. Attempts to reach Richards' reps were unsuccessful. |

You have Black History Month. You have Cesar Chavez Day. You have Yom Hashoah You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi You have the NAACP. You have BET. If we had WET(White Entertainment Television) we'd be racists. If we had a White Pride Day you would call us racists. If we had white history month, we'd be racists. If we had an organization for only whites to "advance" our lives, we'd be racists. If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships, you know we'd be racists. There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US, yet if there were "White colleges" that would be a racist college. In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists. You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists. You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug-dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist. I am proud. But, you call me a racist. Why is it that only whites can be racists? |

 Coolness: 102715 | I think the point is he is was doing stand up, and stand up comics would get heckle from time to time,
especially if s/he is not doing in the his/her routine. A pro comic would just laugh about the jests, and return the favor in a comedic way. The people, those who go see stand ups regularly, are maybe upset not necessarily of the comments (comedy is full of racist jokes), but because he lost his "professionalism". |

 Coolness: 42700 | Racism, from my perspective, is to care about other people's race by action or thought. Positive racism, like election a MP because he's asian, often provokes a negative backlash.
Really who gives a shit...we shouldn't even have to debate over this anymore. |

| Coolness: 42700 | Positive racism is when you make a constuctive decision (electing MPs, hiring an employee...) based on the racial reasons. Positive doesn't automitically mean "good", I just needed a word to designate my point. |

the 'United Negro College Fund' is bullshit. Why should they be only giving scolarships to blacks? imagine what would happen if they made a 'United Caucasian College Fund'? It'd be the L.A. riots all over again. |
