Ed Garro, aka UFO!, combines advanced aural aggression and sci-fi imagery to give his self-proclaimed 'Blade-Runner-Phunk' style a potency that pushes phorward the margins of drum & bass. UFO! boasts numerous releases on labels headquartered in both the U.S. and abroad--but is best known for his 1999 anthem "Enemy Infiltration" on Thermal. In 2002 UFO! made history with his phirst phull-length work of genius "The Future is Listening" featuring eighteen original genre-stretching songs detail the accessible experimentalism that make up UFO!'s vision. Ed explains, "To me, in drum & bass, you can only do so much until it becomes experimental and that's the fine line I'm trying to walk." UFO! will be walking that phine line for us as he adds a live element to his performance, using various software to give us a view inside this genius' mind as it works it's magic. Hive - Violence, Phunckateck - LA, Moving Shadow, Tech Itch - UK ... What hasn't this man done? Hive has started four record labels including his latest endevour, Violence Recordings. Hive's most recent solo opus was "The Raw Uncut" project, which has become a landmark release for the stateside Drum and Bass movement. Three of the tunes have been licensed to Moving Shadow for "Killa Bites 2" a Tech Itch mix CD. Hive has also remixed Tech Itch's "Stack" as well as Rob Playford & Goldie's "The Shadow". Meanwhile, Hive's relentless touring schedule has blown countless speakers from coast to coast. He's performed all over North America, from Hawaii to Canada to Puerto Rico and now for the first time in WNY. Juju - Renegade, Advanced - UK, Phuturo - SF ... Born and raised in Colombia, South America, until the age of 16, Neil Zarama aka Juju, developed and nourished his musical palette from his diverse Latino background. Juju is currently one of the States busiest and most established dj/producers. Respected for his fierce djing, programming and exclusive dubplate selections, Juju is in heavy demand throughout the States, Asia, Europe and South America. On the production front, Juju has been setting high standards as being one of the first US Drum and Bass artists to be signed to multiple top notch UK labels including Renegade Recordings, Klute's Commercial Suicide and Total Science's Advanced/CIA.
