Coolness: 509625	I see that most laptops come in either Glossy Screen or Not Glossy Screen. I could imagine the glossiness being TOTALLY annoying. But I need opinions here!

Coolness: 71500	i guess it's like paint glossy is easier to clean ~ matte picks up smudges more so i guess your screen is less shiny but maybe more smudgy just guessing here

Coolness: 87640	The glossy screen will make the colors seem a bit brighter and crisper, however, it's a bitch to use outside!

Coolness: 83940	glossy screens are shit for graphics... the color is usualy FUCKED... like too bright and shit... then you get you prints back and its not even close. just my opinion. but then again... i don't think i've ever worked on a properly calibrated monitor in my life?

Coolness: 201290	Glossy is better for watching movies and shit, and playing video games, in a dark room. Matte is better for colour accuracy and it suffers from less glare. Gloss is kind of a cheap way to make the monitor seem more brilliant, you can get great ones that aren't glossy but they are more expensive.
