I consider myself an enlightened individual, so i don't need ANYONE to decide what's best for ME. I CAN handle the truth in stride in all it's ugliness. It is true that some things are best left unsaid but there's a difference between holding your tongue and straight up holding in what's really going on. (although I don't know who I'm yelling at here) We're not children who need a reality filter...
I think the real culprit here is communication, even the best languages are so limited. Then there's ambiguity, sarcasm, joking, half-joking, pretending to be joking and priorities. |
