| Not sure if everyone's noticed it, but you are now able to rate a thread based on it's content, this rating is then added up and lets you know ahead of time (based on other people's rating) if a thread is worth checking out or not. |

| not to diss anything nor anybody, but i just feel like expressing my opinion about all this : i don't really appreciate the fact that there are thread/pics rating and dating functionalities...
but yeah i guess some people will find them fit and useful anyway
and i also prefered 'AIM' instead of 'AOL Messenger' in the profiles, because we could write some funny nonsense instead. ( ok, i know, sorry :P ) |

| about the rating, because it's public judgement, which can't be taken seriously (not everybody will rate seriously anyways), and because i don't think it's a good thing to rely on other people's judgement for reading posts or looking at pics... and in the end, this kinda turns it all into a rather unsensible contest/competition. (this is just my point of view)
about the dating, because i think internet dating is rather unhealthy/unseemly in the first place... but i know you have dotmate with noah, so i definitely won't expect you to agree with me on this one. but besides that, i think this really doesn't fit with a nightlife community website, where i expect to find information about events and a means to stay in touch with people attending these events*... and not to find a raver fuckfriend i've never met, nor a "computed soul mate". my 2 cents, i'm leaving canada in a month anyway... this website has allowed me to meet a lot of my current friends in montreal, and to have an incredibly busy nightlife for the past year, and i'm really thankful to all of you who contributed to it ; but still, this has had nothing to do with cyber-dating.

| the original idea behind rating stuff was to gain worksafe status.
If a photo isn't worksafe cause it's gross or naughty, then don't allow the user to see it (if they have worksafe on, at the top of the screen) |

| ^^^ THAT is a much better idea. Ignoring a user could just toggle their posts to be "closed" and need toggling if you want to see it. |
