Metro Escalators

for most of us here take the metro to get around
is there an unwritten rule that the right side is for people who are just going to stand and the left side is for folks that are going to walk up? i know that there's stairs next to every escalator but still... and how about... allowing everyone that needs to exit the metro train before trying to rush inside to get a place to sit? it should be allowed to tackle people who break any of these rules. jk but seriously!!! |

About the metro escalators... yes, exactly like on the streets. Get on the granny lane or get honked at.
When I need to get off the metro and people block the way, I just walk in a straight line folding my arms and bulldoze the annoying fawks that are infront of me. For the annoying folks that rush me from behind to get in the metro, I slow down like a mother fawker as I crawl in the metro. NOW TRY TO FIND A PLACE TO SIT BIATCH. |

I walk through people blocking the doors when I get off, I love hearing them get all annoyed like I'm the asshole or something.
As for the escalators, just walk up behind anyone who's blocking the left side and get as close as you can.. they almost always move. |

Nah, people don't like strangers getting close like that, most people look at me like I'm trying to steal their wallet or something and move. |

ya thats a montreal thing for sure, its in other cities as well, but its definately montreal... some places in europe its the opposite, that screwed me up, people were huffin an puffin at me for being on the wrong side, and I was like "um, ur on the wrong side..." according to my sociology course, most people pick sides of the side walk about 30 paces from each other if walking in on coming directions, that way theres no body collisions, though my favorite is getting confused by someones on coming body language, picking the same sides over and over until you almost collide, then come face to face and each appologize, pick sides and move on, hehe, so canadian... think about that the next time you walk on the side walk heading towards someone...

Oh man. Blake and I were fuming about this yesterday. What is WRONG with people!? I always say EXCUSE ME very loudly and bitchy-like.
What's almost worse is when you're stuck walking behind someone on the escalator who fucking saunters up the stairs, taking a step every 2 or 3 seconds. RRRR. |

i fucking hate people who dont realise the left side is for walking
christ, some people dont need to stand around and wait for the escalator to bring em to the the top. its so frustrating, especially the little kids who jsut stand there even when u say excuse me. arggggg. so annoying. |

I guess the stairs are just there for the maintenance people. When i get out of the metro and people want in cuz they want a seat, i just plow through them. |

Or the old ladies who sit on the outside seat of the 2 seaters with their flowers or purse on the other seat during rush hour. Are they really that afraid of someone sitting beside them? |

if other seats are taken and the above situ takes places i just growl 'excuse me' at em while leering at the seat, and take the muthafucka |

I'm the king of pushing people away/through people/etc.. and taking unused metro seats that people put their bags on
the worst though is if the person is so fat some of their mass occupies the other seat, I think those people should not be allowed to sit even.. |
