i do NOT think its a good idea.. like, especially if its just for pictures.. you know how much spam you would get in your inbox just notifying you about comments being placed in a picture you've uploaded??

a solution to this would be adding all your favorite pictures to your IMAGES section in your account, that way, you can have them all in your profile, and its easy to see if anyone new responded to one of them (thanks to noah's great "comments counter") .. :)
