A friend and I are looking to split a 4 1/2 or something similar, downtown or very nearby. Which areas should we go look at?

I think he might be looking for some inside info on nice decent affordable places to live.

In the paper, everyone has a nice decent affordable place to live.

But i could be wrong, what does dj amalgam have to say.

the voir, hour, [ alouer.com ] lespac like ~Ch®ist£ll£~ mentioned are all good but another good thing is to go directly to the hood you wanna move in and drive around and call all those for rent sign #'s...there are more places to rent than what you might think and because some of them have been wanting to rent them since July 1st, u might be in for a nice deal fak en gros leves-toi pis c'est bien de demander sur forum but don't hold your breath in the hopes of finding something directly from here.

try looking near metro longueuil....rents are cheaper than downtown, and it only takes 15 mins to get downtown by metro. A cab ride across the bridge is also pretty cheap if needed....

I got a 6 1/2 on Dr. Penfield that we've held the lease on for quite a few years, so the rent hasn't gone up to the actual value yet. We want to move out in Jan, but our lease finishes in July. Ideally we'd like to pass the lease on to another crew so they can keep it at the low price. Right now it's about $1600/mo, so it might be too much for 2 people, but we've had 4 people (2 couples) living here very comfortably. Otherwise this place will go up to over $2000/mo.
