| it is very interesting what you hear, frank. don't believe all of it.
dmt is not so easy to find in montreal, but one has access to the plants containing dmt and an maoi (needed for oral ingestion of dmt); however, preparation is not obvious; and either way, it is not suggested to do ayahuasca without someone with experience in the trip and the ritual. the vine is sacred, do not mess with it.
having said that, dmt is a fascinating subject, do try it if you can get your hands on some.
now to answer some of the above questions, synthetic dmt is a white powder that is smoked and which produces a trip not very similar to lsd at all, something completely different; in fact, some characterize the dmt space as idiosyncratic to the full extent of that word. |

| you dont smoke the actual leaves but you make a paste out of it, I don't know how. Anyways when I tried it I was already on enough acid/mdma that it didn't do anything so I don't know. Also it was missing a final step of extracting some sort of fatty acids or something. It wasn't so crazy, I smoked so much of it and nothing but a head buzz. |

| Absinthe really isn't as crazy as people say it is. It's one molecular bond diffrent from THC, and the diffrence is that when your on the "down", it's less depressive and stimulates the creative center of the brain. (hence all the old poetry written by poets on absinthe)
The reason it's 'illegal' is because wormwood, in high doses, is extremely poisonous, and people drinking too much absinth would get alcohol poisoning AND wormwood poisoning, and being poisoned by 2 things at once, way back before the medical knowledge we have now, led to a lot of deaths. |

| yeah, it's the wormwood that really fucks you up. Wormwood is legal in Quebec so at the SAQ they sell absinthe with wormwood, but apparently there isn't a lot of it so it's almost like regular alcohol.. at least that's what people say/assume. I dunno anyone who's actually gone to buy a bottle but I'm sure it's true, cause like.. they don't wanna law suit. I also knwo someone who knows someone who makes it if you want me to ask, if oyu haven't had any luck with the other contact. |

Yeah, I've drank it many, many times. Got a friend who installs professional flight simulators and trains companies on how to use them world-wide, so he travels around a lot. He usually comes back from 2 week trips with 4-5 bottles of it when he's overseas.
I dunno about barely remembering anything, but some great stuff has come out the next day when I sit down and start working on beats. |

Heres the basics: pure DMT is a white powder, its usually smoked, and it will send you to outerspace and back in less than 20 minutes. I've taken ayahuasca, which is a plant mixture (taken orally) whose active ingredient is DMT combined with an MAOI. The trip is less intense than pure DMT, but it lasts about 2 hours rather than 10 minutes. I've also smoked pure 5-meo-DMT (a variant on DMT) which is by FAR the most intense trip of my life, and i've done ALOT of different drugs. You can check out my trip report here: [ www.rave.ca ]
