Rain around here will eventually turn into snow, all lovely and stuff. That snow will be followed by excrutiatingly cold weather where said 5 inches of snow will harden to a near concrete-like state where getting around will be like climbing Mount Everest but on a flat surface. Not only that, if this snow if followed by warm weather ( yay ! ), it will invariably be followed by a mix of snow and water ( thawed snow ) thus creating the most destructive compound known the any clothing you will be wearing around your ankles : a highly calcium-ridden slush. This slush will proceed to make your life miserable as you will have to walk through incessant mounds of it, not to mention the greyish puddles near street corners that are bound to be splashed from head to toe as a bus comes around to pick up identically depress citizens. Combine this to interminable hours of shoveling, frustrating hours of looking for a f**king parking spot and snowplows that have a nasty habit of getting rid of 15-feet high mountains of snow at 3am right in front of your house on a tuesday night ( and you work at 8am the next morning ) and the unfortunate property of snow to stick around if it's cold enough while rain ends in being sucked into the ground or eliminated through manholes and such. So in a country where winter lasts about 8 f**king months, rain is almost welcomed at that point. I will not discuss the mood it puts people in though because it does look depressing. But hey, with what I wrote up there, I'm looking on the bright side. LOL. |

However, the only reason I can see right now for it not being productive to answer a question with a question is when it is a distraction from coming up with an answer. just kinda side swipe the issue. |
