Giving Out Demos

| I find there are often weird stories attached to giving out demos.. I have a several..
I remember at 2k4 I brought a cd to give to steve (which he listened to 6 or 7 months later when he wrote about fm_man in his collum). I had some others with me also. I remmember falling down the stairs at one point because it was wet, and one of the cds got crushed. I was just funny because there were pieces of cd case everywhere.
The other story is more recent, I was at the coma noise festival with Erik and we had a few demos with us to give out. Since we don't know the industrial music crowd well at all since we are shut ins, finding people to give cds to was hard. At one point, a very very drunk/high girl was talking to us, and we decided she deserved a CD for being so friendly. She dropped the CD almost immediately, and was searching for it on the floor. This guy picked it up (it survived the floor trauma) and I told him that since he found the cd, he could keep it. The guy told me he was a DJ from Switzerland, which was pretty cool. I wish him well... |
