 Coolness: 201305 | so I was bored today and wanted an excuse to be outside so I sat in different quadrants of my property with the laptop (using built in intel wireless) to see how many networks I picked up... I live in the south shore in an area which has everything from welfare apartments to 500,000$ houses so I wasn't sure what I would get. Anyway I picked up about 6 or 7 networks, all of them out of range except for two and those two had wep enabled (one was my neighbour who's network I used a lot untill he found out and began using wep (I'm too lazy to want to crack it). Most were open.
This is pretty cool I didn't know so many people had wireless out in the boonies, downtown I can sometimes pick up 15 networks in one spot and half of them are open and in range to connect. |

 Coolness: 299405 | my father bought this cool wifi scanner. it shows u all the info about every network from a click of a button. I have a dozen unprotected networks i can access from my house |
