We, the undersigned, are disgusted with Ashlee Simpson's horrible singing and hereby ask her to stop. Stop recording, touring, modeling and performing. We do not wish to see her again.
She cannot match the sound of her voice that can be found on her CDs, when she sings live. She simply yells the words (sometimes the wrong ones) into the mic.
We are so sickened by her "performing" that we are taking this opportunity to demand that she stop.

Yeah try and find ANYONE who can do that... The amount of stuff done when a CD is recorded/mixed/mastered seriously spices up the quality of the voice.. Even I was able to do wonders on vocals with my low-end computer shit...
And nobody knows how much pop singers actually lip-sync.. It happens a lot more often than everyone thinks.. It's not right to single out one person, the ENTIRE BUSINESS should be attacked |

| A lot of stuff on CDs is IMPOSSIBLE to do live, like when you record multiple takes/tracks of the same vocal and layer them to get a thck 'wall of sound' style of effect. It sounds great, it's done a lot, but you can't do it live unless you have 3-5 clones of the same person singing at the same time :D |

I'll bet Slayer and NIN all use backing acapellas and don't really play their instruments. Same goes for Slipknot and Mushroomhead. 8/9 person bands totally can't do all the shit they do live.
It doesn't have to sound like the CD. If you wanted to listen to a CD, you stay home and put the CD in. When you go to a concert, your going to see a LIVE SHOW where the band is putting everything they have into all of their material. Anything else is just a fuckin' sham and a rip-off. If for some reason I suffered from severe cranial trauma and attended a concert of Ashlee Simpson (or Britney Spears, or J-Lo, or Christina Aguilera) I'm not going to see the prance around and lip-synch, I'm going to hear them sing the songs that they felt "so passionate" about that they had to record and release them because it meant something to them. |
