You may have noticed a few titles not coming in lately, that had to do with one of the big UK distributors not getting their shit sorted out right...however that's been fixed now...good news. The bad news of course is that there will be more records then ever, more dark shit especially...oy vey.
[DRUM & BASS] Evol Intent - 7 Angels with 7 Plagues/Pish Posh - Corrupt Cops (Evol Intent RMX) on Barcode. A long time coming, this record is about as heavy as it gets. Stateside new guys Evol Intent come to RIP SHIT UP big time, the big tune here is the highly anticipated 'Corrupt Cops' remix...think hard, and then multiply that by infinity. Tali - Lyric On My Lip Remixes Part 1 on Full Cycle. Don't freak out, but there's more to come! First up comes the original mix, not available since the original pressing, so if you missed it, here's your chance. The flip treats you to a first ever collaboration, the Krust & Clipz RMX. Stay tuned for the unbelievable Ed Rush & Optical RMX. David Carbone - 'Low Till I Smoke/Soul Salaam on Industry. More summer vibes from up-and-comer Carbone...nice vocal touches on this one make it a crowd pleaser. Flip for more of the same. Aquasky - Floor 2 Floor/Xample & Bane - Influence on Incident. Damn! Killer bass on this record right here! Aquasky bring it for both the fellas and ladies with a very hot dancefloor killer. Xample shows he's no one-hit-wonder alongside new partner Bane with a bouncy one as well. Calibre - P.U.R./Cold Halo on Revolve:r. I won't say much about this one, except that's it's dubby as hell. Oh yeah, and P.U.R. stands for 'Pissed Up Raver'. Crisis Loan - Caped Crusader/Karachi Kops on MASH. More killer material from Hospital sub-label MASH. This time it's Social Sucurity's 2nd half coming with the jump-up flavour. If you've heard anything from this camp then you know what to expect. Aphrodite - Twilight/Slag Bass Remix on Aphrodite. Woo hoo! New Aphrodite...yay. DJ Crystl - Warpdrive 2004/Let It Roll 2004 on Photek. The return! For those of you too young to remember this original bad bwoy...get ready to go back in time. Dee Jay recordings and Lucky Spin were home for this man, he's back with crazy edits and crazy chords so get ready. You know when Photek signs you to his label, you've got to be good. Fifth Element - Stone Cold Part 2 on Architecture. Features a very solid remix by the Usual Suspect's Keaton and even more new material from DJ Crystl, this time on a hip hop tip. Nightwalker - Jeopardy/Dykast - Dig Dug on Gain. You know this guy, trust me. If you've listened to Capital J play in the last 6 months, believe me you know it. Badass bass makes this 12 strictly for those who can handle. Pollen & KC - Hell Bender/Vodka & Codeine on G2. After successfull stints on Terraformat and Dieselboy's Human imprint respectively, Pollen & KC step up to G2 with their hardest material yet. Solid. Universal Project - Outrun/Warpath on Universal Project. I'm warning you in advance, this is one of the last pieces of vinyl you will see from these boys. The crew is basically defunked, and they've all moved on to bigger and better things. 'Outrun' is my pick here...solid roller with a real nice feel. Top notch filler. Various - The Global Remix EP on Magic Vinyl. I won't tell you about this record...just the tracklisting..that should be enough: Ben Sage Ft. Some early Rebel MC material right here. Features the Original Dubplat Mix along with Part 2 and the very hot 'Dubwise'. Zinc - Steppin Stones/South Pacific on Bingo. Launching his new mix cd alongside DJ Friction, Zinc drops another amen bomb on our ass. Killer. Missy Elliot - Pass The Dutch/Freak Remixes on White. More new bootlegs coming form unknown producers once again. This time it's the new single 'Pass That Dutch' that wins the crowd. Flip for the heaviest remix of 'Get You're Freak On' yet. 50 Cent - Stunt Remixes on white. More hip hop/d&b bootlegs. Body & Soul - Roadrunner RMX/Something Wrong on New Skool Blazers. D&B Arena competition winners Body & Soul get their remix dropped on a brand new imprint set up just for new artists. It's clear why these guys won... Evol Intent - Red Soil/Death Row on Outbreak. This record is rough, and I'm lazy... Kryptic Minds & Leon Switch - I Remember/Black Rain on Defcom. Best single yet from these guys. [BREAKS] Stanton Warriors - Adventures In Success/Dub Mix on 679.
