Aliens Garden a.k.a. toxic larrys psychedilic bash [ www.rave.ca ] Day 1 We got there on friday night around 11 pm, the place was verry nicely decorated I must say for a cottage party 2 chill rooms, places to sleep and a v.i.p. food and drinks. What more could you ask for ? about 45 people came on friday Friday night Sathurday morning Line up NTER Tag sarcastic : Did not show up need info / Replacement - Dr. Norm Dr. Norm : UK Hard House, Hard Trance, Morning trance and even some Psytrance. Get this dj at your partys is mixing skills are amazing, this guy can play anything and make it sound good... shows you got the DJ in you. Bring it out man I really had fun with you and remember, they're watching you... OSG : Progressive trance, Osg always has the way to make my heart go boum boum boum... Progressive trance is to me, the best style so far especialy when it's well mixed and chosen like he does. This dj is awsome never failed to make me flip out on his beats Too bad you got lost and got there late. Maybee next time come early. Zaid : Full On, Psytrance. I love this guy, wish I could see him spin more. this is where it got serious, Zaid has a way off getting you on the dance floor and just go wild. It got so hot that the sub blew up hahahaha now thats music. Zaid man your the best keep on going, like the energizer bunny bling bling... Stop the party this is the police, the retired people down the hill are freaking out. The party is in full motion The sound is zaid is spinning like crazy We have to bring it way down right before kallan's set..... I hate cops, they stink doughnut and cofee BR34TH3 : Full On Psytrance. This is one of my favorite djs, for tracks, mixing, and sound check skills... Was the first time that I heard him play so low, you rock where ever you are buddy no mater what !!! You surprize me more and more every day I hear you spin. Plus you always, always make me go wild on the dance floor and take all my energy you kill me with your music dude. Cant wait to hear you spin at Grynde session. Skhighwalker : Sleeping Pascal : Sleeping NormIan Tag Team : Full On Psytrance UK hard house and all the possible things you can imagine these guys are great together Ian tells, norm does... keep doing tags together you guys are hillarious, so funny. Day 2 After having a little visit from our good friends the police last night, the sound was way too loud The girls decided to bring the party in the basement. New lay out, new deco WOW those girls can really work things out they're great. In 2 hours they managed to completely give us another vintage.... new location, different party, a beter vibe. 2 Thumbs up Celine and Anne-marie This was more intimate, 30 people where there Sathurday night Sunday morning line up Yoda : Ambient melodic morning trance to movie sound tracks and a little bit of camel music... Andre has a way of making you travel trough music. His choice of tracks for the day was magnificant, real simple, does the trick. this guy has been spinning for long and it shows, I even felt like a knight of the round table for a while... Clown : Psytrance, Full on, Tek trance. Clown man gotta love the way this guy spins. Always tight mixing, up to date tracks killer tracks This Dj does everything to get you dancing all night long and always does the trick. I've been following Vince's performances for a while now and must tell you that he keeps on amazing me, his pation for the music and his proffesional attitude makes him a must in your partys. Psy Like Tek Clown Clown Tag Dr Norm : Psytrance, Full on, Tek trance, UK Hard House, Hard Trance Wow you guys are great, You guys should talk about a doing more tags together Asaph Vs Yoda + Salace preview: Full on Psytrance. I've always been a big fan of Asaph, his spinning skills are remarkable and the choice of tracks takes my breath away. But Asaph and Yoda together is even better. AMAZING. these 2 made everyone dance and for 6 hours they totaly made the dance floor going. We even got a glimpse of some of their new creations. for people that are gonna be present at the freaks island record label party, you are gonna be pleased take my word for it. Salace is this years revelation. Absolute : Did not show up need info / Replacement - Asaph and Yoda, Salace preview Delirious : Did not show up need info / Replacement - Asaph and Yoda, Salace preview Dr. Norm : Sleeping Mr. Dr. norm... Walking up to morning trance is wicked, you feel like your in a fairy tale... I was waiting for the trolls to show up and take me away This was the star of the week-end, played every style, every day, every night. Started and ended the party plus gave us some cool conversation ----- Party Organysers, get this dj ----- This party is the first of many I'm sure of it, a special bound was created this week-end enabling us to grow as a group with a commun interest and goal, LISTEN TO MUSIC AND JUST HAVE A GOOD TIME. Good friends are hard to find these days. Keeping them, even harder... To Marc-Andre and Andre (Salace, Freaks Island Records) Thank you verry much from all of us, you guys are amazing. Professionals on every level, mixing, sound check and producing music. The sound was awsome after andre fixed it. Wich made the night memorable. and I loved the Absolute vodka that you bought me hehehe Thank you verry much to the owners of the cottage, Celine & Eric, you guys are amazing. |

May 1st 2004 Phonolite Intimate 100 person capacity montreal [ www.rave.ca ] Dorobo Was not there yet... arrived at 12:30 Absolute 23:00 - Musikalbox (Progressive/Psytrance) Melanie is one of my tree favorate female dj in montreal. She always amazes me with her mixing skills, professional all the way. and is sure to get you mooving. She plays a lot of of new tracks and some familiar ones, wich is great for dancing. Mimi le mechant 1:00 - 0db (Techtrance) This was the first time I heard him play, good dj, tight mixing, but did not get me going like I tought he would. Maybee Iwas especting too much. I was a bit disapointed by the skipping turn tables. BR34TH3 3:00 - Phonolite (Psytek) Kallan playing Psytek was a first for me. His set really got the crowd going wild and kicking, his tracks were wild and his mixing was impecable as usual. I must admit I like him more on the psytrance full on side, made me dance but psytrance is where he gets the most out of me. Tenzin 5:00 - Tech safari (Progressive/Psytrance) Tenzin is my favorite progressive dj in montreal, Dominic never fails to get me and the crowd going wild. Professional mixing, great tracks, lovely evolution. Morning hours + Tenzin = a sure thing for sure. You gotta hear this guy play. Deco by Phonolite and friends : Not much decoration at this party, the place was too small for backdops. and black lights, too bad but I love the spiralls kallan makes. Visuals By Orange Juice : Wow this guy rocks, wicked visuals, I never really paid attention to visuals in partys but from now on will try to give you guys some reviews. Ups: good people, new faces and alot of good friends Downs: The place was too hot and the freakin tam tam. |

May 15 2004 Musical box Nomad live show + dj set [ www.rave.ca ] Two thumbs up Mel and Dan, 9 months of hard work really paid off. I was verry pleased with this party. Lets hope this will be the first of many. Montreal needs more quality partys like this one. Due to some illness this week, i did not have the energy to dance and party as usual. i found myself in and out talking to friends and making new ones. Nomad Live show - 3d Vison france I really enjoyed the show even if I'm not a big fan of Nomad, I love 3d vision but I was woundering where the 3d vision sound was. Too much bass. Found myself looking for the 'sweat spot' but did not find it. Was expecting more, or maybe I was too tired to enjoy it as usual ? the dj set was awesome love to hear new and unheard tracks. Verry beautifull, backdops everywhere, string work, giant screen. the placce was a bit dark from time to time. I loved the "giant" screen, it was really cool. As for the vj he experienced some problems. but did a great job by the end Ups: lots of people, new faces and a lot of good friends, great venue in the wilderness. Downs: Sound system. Gotta love the four corners! |

july 2/3/4 2004 Ganesha Penta, Triposad project, C.P.U. live acts Inverness Quebec [ www.rave.ca ] This was a verry good party, especialy the fact that we could get there on friday for a 3 day trip... to cool. I think all outside partys should start on friday. the road was cool I did'nt even get lost thanks to my super co-pilote gabrielle, thanks  : I would have liked to know there where places to sleep furter up the forest where it was more quiet, but we learn on the spot so next time I'll check more.
Friday night was a good night, asaph gave us a really good show, yoda even joined him, wich is really good. These guys can play, you really kick ass. Thanks for the new tracks and you really were on fire, you had steam coming out of your head... Kallan rocked like usual, from start to end. This is one of the best dj in montreal. so stop complaining, nobody notices if you think you make mistakes. Dude your one of my 3 favorites. Beautifull day sathurday, the water falls, friends, lost my bags in the streets of Inverness, : good talk with cool friends. Penta live acts... wow wow wow. this was a really good show, its been a while I heard some good music like that, really different from what I'm used to. Dark just the way i like it. 4 hours of pure pleasure. Not like his album, way better in a live show. C.P.U. I was a bit disapointed with is show, good music but it did not get me going the way i tought he would, I mean cpu really kick ass on the dance floor when you hear it, but in a show its different. the dj set pleased me. Other djs did a great job, I did not hear them all but from what i heard i got pleased. besides the sathurday afternoon music wich was really weird. we couls have used a brake
Nice deco, super visual, the sound was nice. besides djs fucking up the sound, but hey.. they always do that. guys ask the sound tek for help djs always fuck up the sound, they're incredible.... Props to Ganesha for this exelent party, dont stop there, this was the best promoter attitude I seen so far, nobody got pissed at ,no moron security guys, the place was cool and every body had fun. I would have liked to have stayed longer on sunday, thanks for the offer but someone had to get home quick. Damn, i needed to chill out on sunday. |

March 13 2004 Tree-Rivers [ www.rave.ca ] wow... I mean Woooooow!!! J'etais jamais aller faire le party a trois-riviere mais jpeut vous dire que ca vaut la peine. Premierement j'ai fait le party du debut a la fin donc j'vais pouvoir faire un ti review sur tout les dj's. Insomnia : tres bonne, pour du house ca ma surpris. Pas mal dark a mon gout. Shango : Holla, y clanche le mec, jme rappel pas l'avoir jouer entendue avant, ca vaut la peine de se deplacer pour l'entendre jouer, Impecable... Asaph : Mon nounours de la trance toi. Pas capable de faire une sieste avec lui qui joue en arriere Tres bon choix de tracks, J'adore voir ce gars la jouer il va toujours me faire lever. Psy-Faktor : CFOU comment il spin bien, d'un calme absolue il est venue me chercher du fond dla salle. Non mais ou tu les prends tres tracks parce-que javais oublier ma hache.... Tao Nhan : C'est simple Je l'adore, cest fou comment il est bon. Du vinyl en plus, une tres belle evolution un choix de tracks impecable et un mixing tight a l'os. Vraiment trop nice ca valait la peine de se deplacer. Ta derniere track, du pur genie, parfait pour la fin d'un set. Tektonik Veda : Ayoye j'me suis fait mal.... tu spin koi toi, c'est completement debil ton affaire. Je l'ai savourer du debut a la fin, j'en veut encore les premiere tracks mon completement debousoller. J'ai vraiment hate de te revoir jouer. Orgasm mental... Timewave : Yes sir. tres bon mix j'adore ton choix musical et de la maniere que tu t'amuse avec les tracks. Disons que rendue a cet heure la J'etais plus capable de danser, mais woah jetais vraiment pa capable de m'asseoir non plus. En passant, tres nice fraktal glider Lysergique : Le malade, c'est tellement fun le voir jouer. tout est dans ca face, expressif... dans ton choix de musique aussi, le prog morning guy, jme demandais si tu pouvais rejoindre les autres djs dans leurs style. Ben ca l'air que oui. tres belle evolution de full on - prog. Ca fesais longtemp que jvoulais te voir devant 400 personne. merci pour le party dude, cetais nice Tricks : Ont retourne vers le house, deep and dark. Faut vraiment admirer les djs qui spin du vinyl, c'est comme ont dirais.... sensuel. Je pensais jamais dire ca mais le house qui se joue dans les partys sont exelent. Vraiment nice pour un dj qui commence a 8 am et qui na pas entendue le style de la nuit. il restais autant de monde a la fin de son set qu-au debut pour parler de la place, c'etais vraiment cool. Grand tout plein de place pour danser le son etais bon puis fesait pas trop noir. Deux etages avec vue sur la mer... heu les djs jveut dire. fesais un peu froid mais ok pareil apres avoir danser un peu. c;est mieux que de suer toute la nuit. Du beau monde, des belles filles les mosus de siflet maudit jai eu du fun... ca parait tu ???? thanks guys jai hate au prochain party j'ai vraiment rien de mal a dire a pare CALISS LA MUSIQUE ETAIS BONNE. J'ai vraiment jamais ete dans un party ou jai du debut a la fin adorer tout les djs coter musical. |

Location: Bancroft, Ontario, Canada 525.6 km to go 488.7 km to come back ??? total 1014.3 km 11 1/2 hours driving 47 $ gaz hehehe small suzuki wow what a party, viva teknival... we left at 6pm and got there on Friday night around 12 am after driving on amazing ontario roads, 13 km in the forest, dirt road, broke the muffler and hit a rabbit that unfotunatly got away, damn, no dinner tonight hehehe. Found the F A K stage easely, got a cool welcome from Psycronik and the team. Set up the tents, lit a fire with wet wood and went for a trip into music. This party concept is verry cool, different from anything you can imagine. Sound systems everywhere. You dont like what you hear, you moove along to another stage and trip there for a while. Every possible styles where present People came from New-York, Toronto, Maine, Ottawa... and Montreal hard core and d/b. the only downside, nobody was there to represent the mtl psy scene. Sathurday was the real night, all the stages where done, all the people where there. The F A K stage gave us a real nice psy full on demented night. Psycronik was on fire, your sound system realy got peoples attention. Cant wait for next year, bigger and with Montreal friends this time. You can count me in for sure, Montreal has to be there. Gotta thanks my co-pilot oli for the 11 hours he spent with me listening to cds i missed the family at this party but we made a lot of new friends, new conection now well go party in Toronto this automn. |

July 29th 2004 Quebec city [ www.rave.ca ] Road trip anyone... this was the first time I ever went to quebec city to party, and it was cooooooool. seing my all time favorite playing really got me. after driving for 3 hours it was nice to get there without getting lost, two thumbs up for my co-pilot again. Gab you rule the first show was actualy really good, it surprised me, hard bass line, mad vocals. it almost sounded like trancy goa hard core. real nice. hope you guys make it big time. It was the first time I saw a real live show. Astral... god ho god are these guys ever sooo good there the gods of trance. I mean no matter how many times I see them, they'll always surprise me. I was backstage practicaly all night, took tons of pictures, even invited me to go to aria the next day with them. These guys are the best in the world, never saw anybody so nice. wow this was out ou my mind night. thanks a lot an d hope to see you realllllll soon. |

Olden lake Ontario August 7th, 2004 [ www.rave.ca ] Tres bon party, ont est arriver la tres tard apres avoir chercher la place comme des fous, je commencais a etre decourager. Se perdre a 2 km du party quand ca fait 4 hrs que tu roule ca fait peur... Il me manquais ma co-pilote preferee, Gabrielle, le trajet estlong sans toi. le clou de la soiree, Psycronik. ce gars la mixe ben en .... a chaque fois que je le voit il m'inpressione en tout cas les lettres de lalphabet etais bonne ce soir la, jai vraiment eu du fun. Le monde d'ottawa sont vraiment trop cool merci a toute la gang de mtl qui se sont pointer c'etais bien de vous voir la binette loins comme ca jai hate au prochain party |

thanks alot zen for having us before. the place was really cool and the night was nice and hot Sleeped all day wich is good cause i was way too tired. But did not get to dance due to some leg problem and I was not fealing too good. the music was beautifull, people too. all in all it was a good party but was simply not in the mood. I think its also because it was the last outside party and I love them soo much, it hit me like a ton of bricks. sad i was... till next year, theyre will be more |
