Back to earth for a big thank-you! I wanted to thank all those who helped this event happen, the performers, the volunteers, the attendees! A special thanks to Jessi, Justin, Tara, Sean, Will, Mark & Amanda, Patrick, Simon, Coleen, Pete(s), Tyler, Gab, Jonny and Alison for making this happen. Although we were burdened with a Friday night rain shower, we were able to get the near perfect vibe on Saturday Night/Morning. Apart from a few minor occurrances the event went very well and we look forward to next year's event! Thanks everyone for your help, i know it can be difficult at times. Sorry if I forgot anyone. MekkadoM, I don't want to keep this crap going... You don't know what your talking about or what lead to the late set-up or if it was even my responsibitlity. If you know please enlighten everyone here? You don't. It also wasn't my event exclusively (I throw much more money into my events. I'll take all the blame and I don't mind. I'll not make the same mistake again, if i can help it. I'll ignore your crap cause I don't really care to get wrapped up in it. So once again. Thanks, for coming to play. Its unfortunate that you didn't have a good time. But that does not reflect the sentiment of the majority of those who attended or played. |

MekkadoM... Sorry you had a bad experience. But I never asked you to come play in Ottawa, so get over yourself. I asked anyone interested in playing to come contact me. I also metnioned it was a collaborative affair where everyone had to pay their own way and their tickets (even djs-which you didn't), so don't play the victom. And I gave you Gas money cause your were whinning not cause i thought I owed it to you. So take your negative cry baby attitude and read the event listings or talk to the folks who invited you to play, cause I didn't. BTW this was meant to be a collaborative effort... not a 7th Harmonic effort. It turned out differently, because those who offerred their help failed to deliver... Regardless i'm not happy with how it turned out, but those who stayed and arrived on saturday had good weather and good music and a great vibe. Yes Friday night was difficult with the rain and getting the sound going. And the "Ferry" ... was to ferry people. Probably should have made it clearer for those six people who expected a car ferry to an island. I mean its a $10 event, and you expect a car ferry? Anyway apart from the friday night rain and sound issues I found it to be a fairly fun event. Yes i admit their were logistical issues. But I didn't ever offer anyone money for playing or gas money... so don't put try and makes us look like we didn't hold up our end of the [ bargin...ca ] their wasn't any. An if Zaid K wants to come play for us at New Years for promised pay he's welcome too. Cause he's worth it. But no money was ever promised before it was to be collective effort. |
