Is it really so hard to understand? One of the only things that I can agree on with religion is 'eye for an eye';

If someone goes around hurting people and being violent for the sake of being violent, then they should be treated with exactly what they dish out; violence. People who start fights and like to bully people only understand one thing; ass-kicking. As long as they're not getting their ass kicked, they "win" and are going to keep going around and hurting people.

This applies to cops as well; There's a line to be drawn where the amount of violence that they use is ok, and not. Like that girl that kicked her shoe at a cop and got slammed into a wall, that was WAY excesive and unwaranted. But if someone goes around punching random people and thinks they can get away with it, they deserve nothing but the finest of beatings that can be delivered.

It's pretty simple, really; action -> reaction. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

If you punch/beat up people/act violently, totally un-provoked, the equal and opposite reaction to that is to be punched/beaten up/reacted upon violently.
I'm feeling your norks right now..
