| Personally I can say as someone who has migrated from the 450 to Montreal I prefer the suburbs MUCH MUCH more in general... Lived in the Plateau and it was shitty mostly... And now I am in NDG which is kind of half-way suburbs... I find downtown and the plateau are crowded clusters of people rolling around in their own filth, and bragging about their closet sized apartments that cost way too much... The only good thing about the core of the city is it's easier to get home when you are drunk, and the food in the plateau area was good and cheap (if you know where to go)... I'd take the suburbs or the middleburbs any day, except Vurdun which is fucking awful... |

Actually.. its because I'm an English/History Joint Specialization student and I spend pretty much all my time on a computer writing essays (with 10 000+ word counts)... having a window open that is not Word, or some article on Kafka, or the french revolution, or whatever, is my version of a mini break so every 15-20 minutes I check the site to stay sane.. insult it if you want... but that's the story... |
