E-relevant.. By definition, this board is all about music. It just happens that our music is played only at "raves" and afterhours. And unless you only listen to your music at home, we are all considered as ravers. Although its nothing to be proud of (being a raver), we take great pride in our music.

All this to say that there are some techno lovers that don't go to parties. And i guess those are the people your talking about right? It just happens that there are some on this board (it seems that way or else this topic wouldn't exist).

Bottom line, they have opinions like all other humains on this earth and we are entitled to listen and learn from what they have to say.

I was just woundering when everyone was getting together to spin/play arcades/get smashed at Lanjeux near atwater metro.. Since i'll be at school this semester at Dawson i just want to know. also, it would be nice to be able to mix a bit there too.. :D

Fist off, i'd just like to say thanks to Paul for standing by me in the begining of this topic.

Second off, its not what you use but how you use it. Vinyle is great, it sounds good, you have a closer feel of where your song is and it takes a hell of a lot more practice to get it down straight. It also includes Djs suporting the artists that they like and spin.

On the flip side, Cd's are really great too. Its much less manual then vinyles, the sound is a little less warm like people say, but it's much clearer in the MID section (cool way of sayiny it huh?? lol) So yeah, the mids really stick out more and in psycadelik music the mids are most important.

So my little moral is that if you choose to use Cd's (like me) buy your music, NEVER mix using Mp3 quality because there IS a quality loss no matter how high you incode it.

On a more personal matter, i also mix using vinyle, so its not like i'm closed minded, although my phrasing tends to be a bit off due to lack of constant practice with them. I like CD's a hole lot better, not really for the sound quality but mostly because you get more songs for your money's worth.

Great party.. I really can't comment on the main room sets cause i spent all my time in the second room.. It was a great experience to my mixing for about 4.5 hours.. My tag team efforts with x-frog really turend out sweet.

Sorry for the "Smooth beats" in the second room, but everyone was in the main, so we decided to turn the second room into something a little more relaxing, a little more intense, a little more... PSY.....

Hope at least some people appreciated our efforts..

I found that the flyer looks like one of those slush adds.. Ya know the ones you can get a any Provi-soir. hehehe. the print is the same and the face reminds me of the skeleton.
