Oh yeah, those greedy millionaire promoters that take all your money to buy drugs and hookers... yeah right.

50$ is a few day of food for almost everyone, btw.
Its also a couple of 2-4's, or 10 beers in a bar, 4 bottles of wine, or maybe 6 packs of smokes, or a 1/4 ounce of weed, or a night in a cheap motel, or 2 nights for 2 in a camping lot [ www.destinationcamping.ca ]

If you dont have 50$ to spend on a 2-3 days out-door party with 50 dj's and showers and toilets and all, you probably shouldn't be thinking about partying at all, and should maybe find a better job or get an education or something.
I'm feeling no sleep till tuesda right now..

I detach myself from his agreeing with me.
he didn't get what I was saying and turnd into something to suport his view.

FAIL by my standards.

i hope you were joking about what you said.
because the world could not function without the people who are paid 10$ an hour,
and if only the rich people should party
that is pushed to the extreme of... i don't know the word but i don't like when people think that way.

50$ is not being rich, damn.

If you're paid ten bucks an hour and can't afford a 50$ event every month, you have budget problems. Trust me, I've worked minimum wage for years, a decade ago; paying bills, apartment and services and still had no problem.

If you can't afford it, Databoy is right; you have a lot to learn. Especially about budgeting.

I don't think some of you really understand how much it costs to throw a quality event. I still haven't met a promoter who makes a living off throwing parties.

Well I don't know any promoters that do it with a gun to their heads.
Some people love to party,
some people love to throw parties.

No one is to be cried for.

However, there HAS been a few promoters along the timeline who made bucks.

Well I don't wanna seem all like "Ugh! them kids.."

But I rememeber that back in those days, most partygoers were over 17 at least and at least had a part time job (or school loans. teehee) and were able to afford a party like once or twice a month.

Nowadays, 14-17, they want to party every fucking day of the weekend, and don't have a job. So you get what you pay for.

If you go to less parties, you can actually plan and save up for it.

Fucking generation d'enfant rois. "I want it all, NAO for free. Mom I NEED them urban outfitter leotatrds, there's a partay coming up in 5 hours!!!!!"
