depends on what you mean by munchies.. munchies is usually used to refer to shitty junkfood/fast food like chips or hotdogs and poutine.. Do you just want good food in the area?
I'm feeling penishands right now..

well in the plateau, there's L'Avenue.. amazing shit, make sure you get the fresh fruit juice (it's a smoothie made with fresh fruit when you order it, no pre-made crap).. Pretty much everything there is good.. They've got a salad I can't remember the name of that has a bunch of fruits and some types of cheeze in it that's off the hook.. the whole menue is pretty amazing. It's on Mt. Royal, a few blocks east of St Denis (come out of the metro and turn right, it's on the same side of the street) It's got a glass front, and good chances that there'll be a lineup, but it's more than worth it. The bathrooms have a TV In the floor and a small waterfall, too.

For meat, there's Janos on St. Laurent.. not quite sure around where it is.. opposite side of the street from Moog, and not too far from it either.. fresh grilled meat, some of the best you're gonna get.. The fries/rice are nothing special and you could get better pretty much anywhere, but it's all about the meat.
I'm feeling penishands right now..

You can't fuck with:

Romados (sic?) - a.k.a. Delicious Planet. Best chicken in town.
L'Anecdote - amazing burger joint at St. Hubert and Rachel I think?
The Main - get the Varenekes and the Latkes, and one smoked meat sandwich, with a pickle. Ta da.
I'm feeling crotchrot right now..

On Prince Arthure You have Pizza Exquise, and a crepe/ice cream place pretty well next door, as well as Mazurka which makes awesome inexpensive po;ish food, and they have blueberry perogies this time of year which are the shit. There's also paggliaci's which makes gellati's(? the Italian Ice Cream) and a grocery store. There's a whole bunch of other stuff but those are my places of choice, not expensive and fucking delisssssshhhhh.

I hate to break it to you but romado's had some renovations done recently, and as far as I know they don't make their famous fire grilled chicken anymore, its rotisserie style now. Yes they still put the hot sauce on it, but it isn't the same. I find their fries to be less than what they used to be as well. Also, I would avoid ramado's like the plague on a sunday, they also don't make their chicken sandwhiches on sundays.

Patati patata is worth the wait, their prices are unbeatable for what you're getting. Anythigng there is good.

There's a tiny little caribbean place on parc right above villeneuve which makes great affordable food.

Beauties is good for a snack, if you don't mind sitting at the bar to avoid waiting to be seated.

La sala rosa makes great great food at a very affordable price and they are tax free.. yes that means the booze is tax free too!

Dusties is right at parc and mount royal and will satisfy your cravings. But they don't have a sign outside.
I'm feeling a little feclempt right now..
