Yeah they do.. its still the day they were born... just... we don't celebrate because we celebrate their deathdays instead.. and we call the parties "memorials"

Well I just think he's a hypocrite. He was the "icon" for peace and love, and no doubt his music was very influencial musical wise and socially, but I just don't think he followed his own message.
He had a bad temper, it was well known he was emotionally abusive to his first wife, beat her once, and he basically abandoned his first son. Love is the answer John, so love your damn kid lol

someone can only be a hypocrite if they do something AFTER they said something .. lennon started a movment twords peace. so much that he married yoko who was born in tokyo.. countrys like the states and the uk had extream anamosaty twords places like japan. together they campaigned for peace in Vietnam. the song imagine was was about comunist countrys like china (he actually wrote it when he just came back from china). he thrived to make people look at things in a different way, freedome of thought. the movment changed the way most people in western civilization look at and live their life.

Oh i agree with you 100 percent.. I love that about him.. He really inspired a lot of change for the better..

Although he could have found someone born in tokyo who wasn't a total biatch.
Happy Birthday John Lennon
