Comme vous le savez, plusieurs ateliers se dérouleront sous une tente cette année, le tout organisé par Nicole Elliott, responsable des ateliers cette année. Les infos sont disponibles sur le flyers ou sur notre site web. Un autre atelier se rajoute à ceux mentionnés sur les flyers. En voici le contenu:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A Rhythm Journey in the Percussion’s Universe. Alban has explored music since he was 6 by learning the drum; later on he engages himself in what is known today as percussion. A passionate decision that won him gold at the Perpigna Conservatory in France then the Excellence after 10 years of study exclusively dedicated to music. For a year now, he has decided to pursuit his Master here in Montreal, Quebec. A Percussion’s interpretation Master which will be supervised by Robert Leroux. After teaching his passion to music in various music schools back in his native country; Today, Alban is offering to share his new vision of Percussion, by taking us on a global trip that shall include the five continents. You will discover different kind of Percussions such as Djembe. Bongos, kass-kass, cajon, darbouka and many others. The musical instruments will be indexed by their ethnic origins and geographical locations in order for you to better understand to basic bass rhythm of each and everyone. Alban will share with you his worldwide passion for Percussion. So don’t miss out. Il se lance dans la percussion plus tard où il obtient la médaille d'or au Conservatoire de Perpignan en France, puis l'Excellence après dix années d'études consacrées entièrement à la musique. Depuis un an, il poursuit ses études à Montréal au Québec en maîtrise d'interprétation de la percussion sous la direction de Robert Leroux. Après avoir enseigné cette discipline dans différentes écoles de musique de son pays natal, Alban nous propose aujourd'hui de partager son regard sur la percussion. À travers un voyage parcourant les cinq continents, vous découvrirez différents types de percussions tels que Djembé, bongos, kass-kass, cajon, darbouka et bien d'autres. Les instruments seront répertoriés en fonction de leurs origines ethniques et géographiques. Vous pourrez alors pour chacun d'eux en découvrir les rythmes de base. Alban vous fera partager sa passion à travers le monde de la percussion, alors tous à vos percus...!
