Man, it took me a little while to realise it, but all the numark DXM mixers are so fucking shitty. The faders bleed and die within like 6 months of having them if your lucky.

True that... my dxm 06 mixer is at moog right now or makers - I dunno. The guy said it'll be ready in 2 weeks... 5 weeks ago.

First it was my crossfader, at first it didn't cut off all the way on the right unless I added a little curve to it, then more and more, now I might as well not have a crossfader, the curve does fuck-all. My left upfader for about 1cm at the bottom is full, and after that it drops in sound and starts fading up. I think Bassic's is showing the same problem (same mixer) and my friend Charlie's got the one with all the effects on it and the crossfader is starting to give on it too.

Actually you just described my problem too! Give a little nudge on the side of the vertical fader and the sound goes off and on when it's at the bottom? Yep...

Except I'm not talking just a nudge, I mean anywhere around the bottom 3 lines it's at full volume, and higher than that it drops down to what it's supposed to be and then starts fading up.

Wonder why Numark kept making the mixers from 01 to 06 if they knew that problem would occur? Oh right... :P

Yeah I totally agree fred. THe mixer was hot at first and if I jerryrig it a little and clean it out the crossfader it still cuts but before I left for paris bleeding problems were gettin pretty bad sometimes. my channel faders still both work fine though. something tells me that those numark mixers weren't intended for scratching. the effects still rule!!! at any rate i'm also upgrading.
