| Description: | I started DJing back in 1993 where I played classic house opening sets at club Energy. I later met up with a DJ known as Dred-E who was going to the same school as myself. I started hanging out with him and he introduced me to a style of music that was called break beat. As soon as I heard the sweet synths and sweet vocals I fell in love, I pondered were can I buy this music, so I asked Dred-e and he told me there is no need to buy, just let me take care of it for you. Soon he was getting me all kinds of white labels mailed to my door. How sweet it was. After a year or so of practice and a few bought records, my chance had come. Dred-e phones me and says how would you like to play on the radio, 105.5 fm CHRY along side Remedy Sound Crew (Phlipside, DJ Viper,Dred-e, and many others. This was a great chance for me to get known. I played every Sunday night and started to get a following of fans who loved the happy sound and a little bit of the Rotterdam.
Later on that year I met up with DJ Brad d who was just coming into the scene, he was playing for the E-network, every friday. We would ship out to Gunns road and hang out, or we would play a set. As time went by we met up with Unibomber who was having his nightmare parties. And he asked if we would like to play. This was the big break. |
