HELP IS AVAILABLE FOR THOSE WHO WANT IT

JUST WHEN I thought the bleeding hearts in this country couldn't make one
of their countless causes any more ridiculous, I read Sue-Ann Levy's
"Millions spent feeding addicts their poison" (April 9).

I can't believe anyone with half a brain would think this is a good idea.
The people who endorse this are obviously far removed from reality
themselves. Giving out safe crack kits, clean needles, condoms and wine,
not to mention a place where addicts can use these products, is crazy. Why
don't we just hand out loaded guns?

While I am sensitive to the plight of the homeless trapped in the grip of
addictive behaviour, I also know help is available for those who want it.
