DISCOURAGE USE OF POT

How unbelievably irresponsible for the Liberal government to suggest
decriminalizing, even legalizing, marijuana. Government is supposed to
guide and protect its citizens, not send the wrong message that drug use is
OK. Recently, Time magazine published the results of a study of this
noxious weed: There were negative effects on the heart, lungs, blood
circulation, mood and behaviour and reproductive functions.

After the health considerations, pot also promotes a sleazy, unwholesome
lifestyle -- just like alcohol does. Accidents, disorderly conduct and
other mishaps are often the result of drug use. Last, but not least: Drug
use, like alcohol abuse, is spiritually damaging -- causing the enslavement
of a person. Therefore, its use must be strongly discouraged.
