EMBARRASSING EXCUSE
Marijuana is not used for traditional ceremonial purposes by native people.
Marijuana is not a "native" plant of North America. It is "native" to
Central Asia.
People who claim that native people use marijuana for sacred
ceremonial purposes are in denial about their recreational addiction
to the drug.
As an aboriginal person, I am embarrassed that this argument was used
in an attempt to get out of being charged with drug trafficking.
