GOVERNMENT: FRIEND OR FOE?
Dear Editor,
Re: Two-Million: can he do it? (SPIN, Volume 3, Issue 11)
A man with cancer uses nothing but cannabis, and he is healthier than most
people his age? I don't get it. My government insists that cannabis causes
cancer, brain damage, schizophrenia, and impotence, indulgence in harder
drugs, unsafe sex, and junk food consumption. They also insist that
cannabis has no medical value, yet my own fibromyalgia and depression, my
wife's epilepsy and post-traumatic stress disorder, my friend's hepatitis
and arthritis, and Montel Williams' Multiple Sclerosis, are all
well-managed by using nothing but cannabis. Could it be that my government
has been lying to us all this time, to forward their own agenda?
