COMMANDER IN CHIEF OF REGION 7 AND D.A.R.E PROGRAM

On 7th Nov 2005, Pol. Lt. Gen. Chalong Sonjai, police commander in chief of
region 7 opened Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E) officer training
program in Hua Hin.

The D.A.R.E program based in America and the academic considered drug
addict person as a patient. Nevertheless possession of drugs is illegal.

Pol. Maj. Gen. Sophon Pisuthiwong, Prachuab Khirikhan commander in chief
said this is the 2nd officer training of D.A.R.E program which held on 7-16
Nov 2005 and 36 officers from around Prachuab Khirikhan province were
trained by Pol. Maj. Songchai Koapong, Pol. Capt. Niramit Kaewchid,
Pol.Sen. Sgt.Maj. Banyad Chuenta, Pol. Seg. Maj. Orathai Kam-on and Pol.
Sgt. Sirirat Preamjit.

The training was supervised by Pol. Lt. Col. Thachakarn Pattamasiri, vice
director of drug administration division, Bangkok.

Pol. Lt. Gen. Chalong Sonjai congratulated Prachuab Khirikhan officers to
hold the 2nd D.A.R.E training program that will guide the officers how to
treat drug-addicted people and convince them to give up their habit.
