Drugs: Blacklist abundant

Dear Editor,

To not support stores that sell glass tubes or other items that can be
used for drugs is ridiculous [Tubes attract 'druggies', Dec. 6
Letters, Langley Advance].

Here are some tidbits to clarify for you.

As you propose to not shop at such stores, you should also not be
buying gas. Gas stations sell Zig-zags, which can be used for rolling
joints, so "druggies" can smoke "the pot."

You also shouldn't shop anywhere that sells pop. A pop can can be used
as a pipe to smoke crack and marijuana.

While you're at it, don't shop anywhere that sells cigarettes. I mean,
it is like a drug, being that it is so addictive, right? And crack
users need the ashes from cigarettes to aid in the "getting high" process.

Now, you also can't buy cleaning supplies, or if you need at-home
medical equipment such as diabetic supplies, you can't purchase those,
either. The needles go without saying, but did you know that certain
cleaning supplies are ingredients in methamphetamine?

That's crystal-meth, in case you don't follow the news and don't know
that it is an epidemic.

Are you following me? The list goes on and on: coffee filters, rubbing
alcohol, even zip-lock bags. That means no gas, no food, nothing. So
add Save-On Foods, Wal-Mart, Zellers, Home Hardware, Shell, and Mohawk
to your blacklist.

The store owners' main purpose is not to promote more drug use, so I
don't believe they should be tarred and feathered, as they are run out
of town, all due to the fact that someone who happens to use drugs
bought something there.

And by the way, you cannot always tell a "druggie" by his or her
looks.
