AN IDEA WHERE TO PLACE 'SAFE' CRACK SITES

Re: 'Safe' Crack Kits To Fight Addiction, Dec. 15.

Toronto city council last week endorsed a new strategy to combat drug
addiction, approving the idea of providing crack pipes to addicts and to
study where safe injection sites could be established. This report was
tabled by Councilor Kyle Rae and was approved by Mayor David Miller.

I also recommend that these centres be established. I only ask that they
would be situated right next door to Mr. Rae's home and Mr. Miller's home.

That would only be fair.
