WHAT FEDERALISM ISN'T
The decision by the San Diego County Board of Supervisors to sue in
federal court to try to overturn a California ballot proposition ["The
Frontlines," Dec. 7] reveals a misunderstanding of federalism. Federal
law is not violated if California police officers do not arrest
medical-marijuana patients.
