A FAILURE IN THE DRUG WAR

Another successful failure in the drug war. The success! Taking
availability of cold medicine away from all citizens. The failure!
Won't stop meth. According to DEA Assistant Special Agent Matthew G.
Barnes meth is now made in "super-labs" in Mexico and imported to the
U.S.

Was the design of the cold medicine laws to stop meth or open doors to
the personal freedoms of all citizens on what they choose as medicine?
The recent case of Dr. Latimer exhibited how a government agency can
look at your personal records with no warrant.

On Dec. 20 President Bush said, "spying is a tool of war". We are in
the longest war in this nation's history. The drug war.

Here are some facts for the readers that were left out of the press
release. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration
has New York in the bottom three states with meth use. SAMHSA data
showed that nationally less than 1- percent (1.4 million) used meth in
the past 12 months. Over 200 million must tell DEA they got cold medicine.

What was the cost to the taxpayers of New York for the multiagency
arrest of 26 individuals?

Sounds like reefer madness of the 21st century.
