MEDICAL MARIJUANA RAIDS: FEDERAL AGENTS PROVIDE GREAT
THEATER
In these economic times it was touching to see federal agents in full
Armageddon costume stepping in to support arts and culture. Trouble
is, I don't know if the DEA raid on the pot farm outside Helena was
tragedy or comedy. Either way, it was sure great theater!
Especially brilliant was the Missoulian photo (March 14) of our
haz-mat-suited heroes juxtaposed with the ongoing and truly terrifying
nuclear catastrophe in Japan, a stage on which such protective gear
would seem perfectly at home.
I'm getting the feeling we may not be able to trust government to
distinguish between real and imagined threats.
