FOR SOME, CANNABIS IS A GODSEND

Regarding the letter "Marijuana deal is not Christian," Dec. 29:

This letter was unfairly defamatory to most Christians.

"Christian" representations can vary from the seemingly miraculous
wisdom, concern and care administered by Mother Theresa to the
hateful and hurtful undertakings of Fred Phelps.

* Regardless of any associated fraud, or any fraudulent claims of
widespread fraud, medical marijuana is regarded as a godsend to many
of our neighbors who must suffer unbearable distress from disease or
injury, and unnecessarily from ignorance and/or mercilessness.

Aside from the hypocrisy illustrated by allowing monstrously
detrimental businesses to exist and expand here, the decision was
certainly based upon one or more of the above.

Please repent and relent.
