REGULATE POT, DON'T BAN

Re the county supervisors banning of marijuana dispensaries in
unincorporated county areas:

People get shot at liquor stores, bars and convenience stores every
year and I've never heard Supervisor Mike Antonovich call for a ban
on those establishments. I know he doesn't agree with the electorate
but we voted to allow marijuana dispensaries and the best thing the
county could do would be to regulate them and enforce the regulations
more carefully. The supervisor's usual grandstanding on this issue is
of no help.
