NICOSIA, June 3 (Reuter) A 77yearold Cypriot woman was arrested on
arrival in Cyprus on Tuesday for illegally possessing 244 grammes of hashish.
Police said the woman was arrested at Larnaca international airport after
arriving on a flight from London. Her 45yearold son accompanied her.
``After a search at the airport the narcotics were found in her possession,''
said a police spokesman. Cyprus law forbids possession of any type of
narcotics and does not differentiate between ``hard'' or ``soft'' drugs.
