COCAINE SEIZED; 6 ARRESTED
PEARLAND Investigators confiscated 30 kilograms of cocaine and arrested
six men from the Dominican Republic in a raid on a residence here.
Federal, state, Harris County and Pasadena officers executed a search
warrant at a home in the 1000 block of Linkwood sometime Tuesday, according
to a statement issued Friday by the Pasadena Police Department. The drug
raid concluded a threemonth investigation by the U.S. Drug Enforcement
Administration.
The six men arrested were identified as natives of the Dominican Republic
who live in the Houston area. They remained in federal custody Friday
without bond, according to the police statement.
Details were unavailable late Friday.
