CORRECTIONS
An Associated Press item in Sunday's Metro section on a medical marijuana
initiative in the District contained several errors. The proper name of the
measure was Initiative 57. Proponents of the measure gathered 16,251
signatures, 819 short of the 17,070 they needed to get the measure on the
D.C. ballot. The Board of Elections and Ethics has given proponents
approval to relaunch the measure under the title Initiative 59, but they
have not started circulating petitions. They still have time to qualify for
the September mayoral primary ballot.
