GUNMEN KILL 2 MEN IN SAN JOSE HOME

San Jose -- Police are searching for at least two gunmen who entered an
East San Jose home yesterday morning and shot and killed two residents and
injured a third.

Three women and two children who were in the home at the time were
unharmed, said officer John Carrillo, a spokesman for the San Jose Police
Department.

Police received a call from residents in the 3900 block of Trimar Court at
about 5:45 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found three men shot. Two were pronounced dead
at the scene and the third was transported to a local hospital, where he
remained in critical condition yesterday.

Witnesses have told police that the home was used as a ``drug'' house,
according to Carrillo. Detectives are also investigating the possibility
that the shootings were gang related, Carrillo said.

``At this time, we do not know the motive,'' he said.
