POT PARTY CANDIDATE HAVING FUN

Marijuana Party Candidate Chuck Beyer had the crowd chuckling at a recent
Victoria all-candidates forum on the environment.

Forum organizers asked Beyer and Natural Law Party Cal Danyluk, who were
late sign ons, not to give opening statements or answer the first scripted
questions.

But when someone complained after the third question that he wanted to hear
form all the candidates, New Democrat David Turner offered Beyer half of
his allotted 90 second response time.

Beyer, jumped right in telling the crowd they could get all his answers to
questions that he hadn't been allowed to answer at his website.

Then, motioning to trays that had been laid out on the head table by
organizers, he quipped: And I was wondering why no one is eating any of
these wonderful cookies I made"

Pot lovers are known to use the green ingredient in baking.

The house roared as Turner immediately dug in. And there were lots of
cookie request form the crowd.
