I think most dj do not recommend computer dj, so I think Cdj will be so far so good for begin

get some money so i book a guy to teach me dj , the guy said 15 yrs exp. play best club in Ibiza and london , so i pass sunday afternoon , no cdj and mixer at all , only a old pc with 20$ speakers ,and a midi controller. no soundcard and headphone . and his windows 7 system update make he restart pc 3 times

the guy start teach me ableton and he never have a saved set , he randomly make some effect with EQ and VST than tell me , "look , that's how cool it is ."
i ask him how to mixing songs , " bring your other songs from 0 volume to 1 than ableton wrap your beat itself , voila , done ..." he said

worst money been spend . bad timi. that 's way i am start , or said not at all ...

yeh , it is not too many people last night .the cheaper ticket will be more easy build your people .and for sure people will see the different between hotdog and steak . it is need time to grow up, not all of the top set at begining . 40 $ for me like a NYE party or some big events .
the other side , the deco is amazing .there are a lot of hard works behind the party . was have a good time there .

ok cyber dog , was bought 2 cloth there which is cost 98 $ each , and wear only 2 times each , all broken ,,, they do a good design , but not good quilty

it is ture , in fact , vjs just add something in the party , and vjs always serves for music . we do not say anything about visual more important than music , all the djs and vjs just want to make a great party , make people high and enjoy it .
we are talking about team work here , coz vjs is 10 times or 20 times less than djs, so vjs should do something and make every party nice .

anyway, one more things for me, i will practise my french in the future, so you guys can talking to me with french now :)

duplication and saturated color is a easy and lazy way to mix for vjs , i am not like this , but i do not have enough clip do what i want :)

but vj and dj do not have banlense since vj coming out :) there no dj bring their amper to the party , and vj should bring all their equitment even projector to the place .

but 10+ hours party onlyh one vj , oeee. ... the point is maybe vj can care about 4 or 5 djs , but can not care about all the night , and during the morning , what we are mixing ? i do live painting , fault doing ipod image , somebody just playing a dvd and sleep .

that's cool if vj work as a group , AMERICA and england allready do this ,but not much in montreal .AND we only have projector and screen for vjs , no more lcd walls . in china, there many place have 360 degree screen and major lcd screen like 200m* 5m .

AND for the safey , i know what faust talking about , and i really damned people who doing this .

i think montreal is more safey than others cities , coz our people is nice , but when i lost my ipod nano, ipod 60g , velo, speaker ,and even cash which be thifed , i do not think here is safey that much ,

the quitment is not only the $$$ . it is part of us ,they are playing and sleeping with me , look like a child for us .

the answer is not .

as vj group , when i playing in mixsession , we do meeting 2 month before the next show , and it is more than time. and we changing idea over than 20 emails . the vjs and djs know every part of the party and vjs know what dj want .

every party have a different subject , different dj and different people , do we vjing the same theme or same image as the audio ? i do not think so , but , but but , sorry for that , we only can mixing what we are think and what we want , coz not that much djs coming out and tell us what they want . that is hard to have a communication between people , dj and vjs .

it always like dj playing what they already set-up's song , vj hear the music and doing visual , people listen the music and see the image than dancing . . .
but does people know can chose the visual as the audio . you can go to ask your favural sounds , and you can also ask to have some image . coz people doing different drugs and have different feeling , if you are in the down-time and i playing a lot of flash on the screen what will you do ? close your eyes do not see the screen ?

that's will sad part for all vjs ...
