Mike pretty much behaved the worst to me that anyone has in my life. I mean, what he did was kind of the lowest thing one CAN do (which makes this particularly strange for me, cuz beef was so unresolved it was ridiculous, but now, it doesn't even matter)- but that doesn't stop this from hurting people, and no young person should die for needless reasons. Generic, or simply "G" as his friends know him, has been eating, sleeping, shitting and breathing drum & bass for a few years now, and it shows....the guy can't carry a normal conversation anymore and has withdrawn completely into Mac land. The flipside is that he's been working hard in the studio on his production, mixing AND graphic design skills. What makes this movie successful is its ability to ignite conversation. While Michael Moore is often pegged as a bleeding heart liberal living on the Upper West Side (and I am not disputing), he is a documentor. And every good documentor, like every good photographer, grasps her/his world within a lens. And MM's lens is bleeding liberalism. So, grain of salt, folks...but its about time a documentary recieved this type of encompassing publicity.
